Community Standards
Updated October 1, 2026
Tzenters helps people find minyanim and communicate with the people they choose. Use in-app messages respectfully. These standards apply to minyan chats and direct messages, including live-location messages.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, bullying, repeated unwanted contact, or attempts to bypass someone’s block.
- Hate speech, discriminatory abuse, or dehumanizing attacks.
- Threats of violence, encouragement of violence, or exploitation.
- Sexually explicit content, sexual harassment, or content exploiting children.
- Spam, scams, impersonation, or sharing someone’s private information without permission.
Report a message
Use the message’s report option, long-press a received message, or open the chat’s safety menu. Select the specific message, choose a reason, and optionally explain the concern. You may also contact feedback@tzenters.com.
A report gives authorized administrators a copy of only the selected message, its sender and time, your reporting account, the reason, and any note you choose to add. It does not automatically send the surrounding conversation, phone numbers, or live coordinates to the review queue.
Reports are queued for human review. Administrators can dismiss a report, record a review, remove the reported message, or restrict an abusive account. Reported-message evidence and the review record are retained for up to 180 days so a message’s normal expiry or removal does not prevent review.
Block unwanted contact
Use Block contact to stop unwanted in-app contact. Blocking is separate from reporting: it protects your contact preferences but does not itself submit a report. You can manage and unblock contacts from Blocked contacts in your profile.
Blocking cannot undo information someone already saw or prevent contact outside Tzenters, such as calls or messages through another service.
How messages are checked
Before a message is posted, local text checks reject certain clearly abusive terms and explicit threats. Rejected messages are not posted, and you can edit the draft. These checks are limited and can miss harmful content or make mistakes; please report problems. This text filter does not send your private message to an external AI moderation service.
Support and urgent concerns
Please contact feedback@tzenters.com for a safety concern, a moderation question, or a mistaken restriction. Include the relevant report identifier if you have one, but do not send unrelated private conversations.
Tzenters is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for an in-app report to be reviewed.
